Hi, a non-teacher needs to help young adult special needs son prepare for a
special college program that requires 4th grade math - especially dealing
with money and decimals. Is it possible to buy a single book (or books as
needed) and perhaps one teacher's edition, assuming that's what needed to
work through the program with him? It will either be the mom or a college
student or both working with him.

Are placements tests available separately?

Also, does it matter how old the books are, assuming we can find some used
ones?
