I agree about Randy. I am a behavior specialist. I have all his books - and use all his strategies.  I just did a training for new teachers in my district - and spent over an hour on ratio of positive to negative interactions..I think he calls it corrections now. 

I had so many teachers email me - they said that when they stopped correcting and first praised a few students who were doing the right thing….they saw tremendous change in the classroom.  A few said they looked at the ratio for individual students they were struggling with and now are focused on changing that.   

I think Randy is the best!!  He has changed countless teacher’s behaviors in my district alone.
