Subject: cpsylist: Congratulations CPSY - Contributions to Filipino American psychology
Dear CPSY:
May is ADPI Heritage Month and it brings me great pleasure to congratulate the following CPSY students and alumni for their contributions to Filipino American psychology. Filipinos are the second largest Asian ethnic subgroup in the United States, and there continues to be very little published on this population's health needs. The following are 'first' for Filipino American psychology and it was not an 'easy' task to get these collections published, even in 2022.
*Congratulations to Michelle Mendoza for co-authoring an entry in the first Encyclopedia on Filipina/x/o American Studies, published by SAGE.

*Congratulations to Kavitha Rao, Lue Williams, Kyndl Woodlee, Catherine Ragland Woods, Claire Crowley, and Kayla Vargas for co-authoring an article in the first special journal issue on Filipino American psychology.
