cpsylist: Follow up From today’s doctoral seminar.

Hi everybody,

As a follow-up to today’s meeting, I believe we should use our May 27, week nine, combined doctoral seminar for the feedback process that comes from the Ombuds confidential process. That’s the logical choice, given the timeframe we have.

Please send me feedback about what your thoughts are about this. Meanwhile, here is the summary that the Ombuds office asked me to send to you today.

Dear CPSY,
While meeting with doctoral students today, they reached a consensus about a process moving forward. They indicated that they do wish to engage in a confidential process such as I described today, that they would like to meet by cohort with the ombuds staff and also have the opportunity for individuals to meet privately, that they would like me to meet again with them again as a group prior to the feedback meeting that doctoral students, faculty, and ombuds staff will attend.
The feedback meeting will be scheduled for a few weeks out (I will work with CPSY on getting this date/time set) and at this meeting, I will share the student feedback and facilitate a conversation about next steps.
If this sounds acceptable, I will proceed with this process with students.
