cpsylist: A couple Competency and Requirement updates to clarify

Happy Monday everyone - go outside if you can today!

We will provide future announcements like this, some more detailed. For now, here are a couple program clarifications:


  1.  The 'Teaching Portfolio" is not required of students - you do NOT need to prepare the Teaching Portfolio.
(For students who have done so in the past, this portfolio will be useful to you in future work applications, and the past portfolios contributed to our APA re-accreditation process in significant ways.

  1.  CPSY 602: Supervised college teaching is NOT a required course. Students may select this as an elective, and often are encouraged to do so during a term when you are co-teaching or solo teaching a course, but CPSY 602: Supervised College Teaching is NOT required.
