Job Description:
The Columbia University Irving Medical Center Department of Psychiatry is seeking a full-time masters-level or doctoral-level clinician to join our faculty and work at the Columbia University Clinic for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CUCARD). Separate positions are available at our two locations: 1) Columbus Circle in Manhattan and 2) Westchester in Tarrytown, NY. CUCARD offers state-of-the-art assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders, OCD, and related difficulties across the life span, and particularly in children, adolescents, and young adults. Both CUCARD sites provide outpatient therapy services and CUCARD Westchester also offers higher-level care through our Anxiety Day Program.

Primary responsibilities for our open positions include: (1) individual and group therapy utilizing empirically supported treatments, (2) diagnostic assessment of children and adolescents, and (3) participation in dissemination efforts and didactic activities conducted at the CUCARD clinics. A PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology or an LCSW degree and license to practice in New York State is required. Candidates must have substantial experience working with children and adolescents with anxiety disorders and with cognitive-behavioral therapy. Experience working with high-risk patients is preferred. Applicants should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well across disciplines and function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. CUCARD Manhattan is directed by Anne Marie Albano, PhD, ABPP and E. Blake Zakarin, Ph.D., and CUCARD Westchester by Anthony Puliafico, Ph.D. There will be opportunities to collaborate with colleagues throughout CUIMC’s Department of Psychiatry, and across CUCARD clinics. We welcome applications from a diverse population of candidates as we aim to increase diversity and inclusivity among our staff.

To apply to the CUCARD Westchester location, please send a cover letter, CV and at least two letters of reference to Dr. Anthony Puliafico at acp2137 at cumc.columbia.edu<mailto:acp2137 at cumc.columbia.edu>. Please email Dr. Puliafico directly with any questions about the position.

As a department, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive faculty and clinical service.
