Hi all,

I currently run an online support group for those who identify as both BIPOC and LGBTQ. Our support group is a little low on numbers so I was hoping some of ya'll might be interested in referring clients who could benefit from this service. See more information below:

Brave Space's Trans & LGBQ+ People of Color Online Support Group still has spaces available for the current cohort! This group is for people who identify as both queer/trans AND a person of color. The group centers the experiences of queer and trans black, brown, and indigenous folk (QTPOC) and seeks to provide community for people experiencing oppression at the intersection of race and gender and/or sexual identity.  This is a great group to join if you are experiencing increased distress due to the violence happening in our POC communities, and would like a safe place to process and connect.

This group meets online every Wednesday from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. It is free and open to any QTPOC Oregonian over the age of 18. This group is made possible by a grant from Oregon Health Authority.

The group facilitator is Gabriella Luther (She/Her, PhD in progress): "As a bisexual and mixed-race woman, I know how living at the intersections of stigmatization can make navigating systems of power and privilege all the more traumatic and isolating. I also know that with diverse experiences comes incredible strength, flexibility, and community. My hope is that this group can help you reconnect to yourself and others, and through that connection, you can heal old wounds and better access your strengths."
