Dear CPSY community,

We just want to name that what has been a very hard 6 months has become much harder with the fires and smoke threatening collective health and well-being.
We know that you are all keeping each other, your loved ones, and our larger communities in your hearts.
So if you are feeling alone, confused, distressed, anxious, you are NOT alone and you can reach out to any of us, faculty, staff or students.
We can be here for each other; we don't have to have an inner zen going on to listen and support each other, we don't have to feign confidence.
Just connect. Please!
Be safe and wise.  Think about your options if you need to leave, check roads and firemaps, and stay hydrated.
