cpsylist: Need research assistance with your SAP or dissertation?

Dear CPSY students,



Family and Human Services (FHS) students are required to complete 401 Research credits with COE faculty and/or doctoral students. We want FHS undergraduate students to gain research knowledge and experience so that they graduate as human service professionals who understand the benefits and applications of social science research.  As one of the more diverse undergraduate student bodies, we also see this as an important effort to diversify the social science and education research pipeline.



If you need research assistance, you can advertise your position using the attached forms. (1) The first form, FHS 401 Research Experience Guidelines provides you with very brief information about the 401 Research credit requirement and a few ideas for how an undergraduate student could assist you. (2) The second form is a Research Opportunity Announcement form that you may complete and return to me to advertise your position with all FHS students (200+ undergraduates).



**You are in charge of specifying what you want students to do in your lab, the time commitment, skills needed...and selecting the student(s) you want. Your advisor must agree to supervise your supervision of FHS students. We want to make it easy for faculty and doctoral students to connect with FHS undergraduates.
