Hello!

My name is Kimberly Saelee. I am a doctoral student Clinical Psychology program at Alliant International University, Fresno conducting a study under the advisement of Ya-Shu Liang. We are interested in Southeast Asian (SEA) individuals who faced challenges in childhood, the subsequent symptoms of depression and the strategies used to overcome them. Individuals interested in participating must self-identify as SEA, be at least 18 years old, live in the United States, and can read in English. This study has been approved by the Alliant International University Institutional Review Board.



We would like to invite your participation in this anonymous online survey. You will be asked to answer a series of questions that should take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. Taking part in this study is voluntary and the responses provided on this survey will not be directly linked to you.



The information that is acquired from this study may give us some insight in advancing mental health treatment for Southeast Asians residing in the United States. This, in turn, could increase our understanding of the influential factors on psychological well-being and treatment interventions for the Southeast Asian community.
