Subject: Psychologist Postition in Baltimore, MD

The Psychiatric Mental Health Program (PMHP) at Kennedy Krieger Institute is currently recruiting for a Clinical Psychologist to provide outpatient mental health services to children and families. The Psychiatric Mental Health Program (PMHP). is a multidisciplinary treatment program focused on the needs of children with complex psychiatric, developmental and medical conditions. Among the challenges the children face are anxiety disorders (including generalized anxiety and phobias), mood disorders (including Depression, DMDD and Bipolar disorder), externalizing disorders (including ADHD, oppositional behavior, and conduct problems), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and tic disorders. Many children also experience developmental disorders or chronic medical conditions.

We are looking for a psychologist with a passion for working with children and families in an urban setting. The psychologist will also embrace being part of a multidisciplinary team, which includes social workers, psychiatrists, and nurse practitioners to enhance assessment and treatment. Evidence based assessment and treatment including PCIT are supported.

Psychologists receive a competitive pay package that includes a sign-on bonus, training allowances and health insurance and other benefits. Psychologists are credentialed as medical staff at Kennedy Krieger Institute and may pursue faculty appointment through Johns Hopkins.
