Graduate Student Writing Support Group
Thursday, October 19 at 11:00am to 1:00pm Susan Campbell Hall, Graduate Student Lounge Room 111<https://calendar.uoregon.edu/SusanCampbellHall>
Spend an hour each week to set weekly writing goals, and share the struggles and accomplishments of academic writing and become more productive and accountable with your time by joining the Graduate Student Writing Group. You must commit to attend every week and have a long-term writing project you are working on. To be considered please send a paragraph on your project and your CV to byington at uoregon.edu<mailto:byington at uoregon.edu>  no later than 2:00 pm, Oct. 12th.  Successful applicants would be notified by October 16th.  The first meeting will be October 19th 11:00 - 1:00.

We strongly recommend that you attend the "Develop ability to evaluate and critique the work of colleagues" writing workshop, October 17th, 11:30-1:30, in the Graduate Student Lounge.

An Individual Development Plan is designed to help you identify long-term career goals and the skills needed to achieve them. This training is excellent for students in the sciences but is an effective tool for all graduate students wanting to effectively progress in their program.
