Subject: Psychologists For Black Lives - Student Organization - Campus Representatives Needed
Hi Dr. Adams,
I hope that you are well. I wanted to know if you could send a letter out to other training directors. The letter invites graduate psychology students to be campus representatives for a new student led organization called Psychologists For Black Lives. I have attached the content of the letter below. I have also attached the PDF version. I hope that you are well.
Dear Psychology Graduate Students,
We hope this message reaches you well. We are writing to inform you about a new organization of students who are dedicated to the movement for Black Lives. Psychologists for Black Lives (ψ4BL) is a student-run and student-led organization dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of Black people of various social identities. This organization aims to promote and protect the mental health and emotional well-being of Black people in America through advocacy and outreach efforts along with event programming. We are looking for campus representatives dedicated to the movement for Black lives. We hope that you will join this organization as we assert that Black Lives Matter! The criteria to be considered for a campus representative position are listed below:
