Subject: [DIV17DISCUSS] Black Lives Matter Meditation for Healing Racial Trauma

Greetings Everyone,

I've created a free resource I hope will be helpful in your work with clients and others experiencing racism-related stress and trauma. The Black Lives Matter Meditation for Healing Racial Trauma is a 17 minute guided meditation that uses mindfulness, affirmation, and metta (loving-kindness) to promote healing in Black people.

I have had several clients, colleagues, peers outside of psychology, and students describe and exhibit racism-related stress and trauma symptoms, especially this summer. Many people have been sharing and compiling excellent resources to manage and treat these symptoms. Please consider adding this to your lists.
