coe-staff: Thank you!

Thank you, COE Community,

I wanted to offer a quick thank you to all the faculty and staff who volunteered today as part of University Day’s beautification fun by working on the COE complex’s green spaces.

The weather was so cooperative making the “before and after” difference impressive (and just in time for commencement!).

It was fun to see whole teams out together at work and it was restorative to gather in chatty community while getting fresh air, exercise, and getting important work done!

A special thank you to Lisa Fortin for getting us all organized and for restoring us with a delicious lunch, and to Joe Black and Alex Joffe for all the fun equipment, the important follow-through, and the beautifying finishing touches.
