Sapsik’ʷałá Program Fund


Since its inception in 2002, the Sapsik’ʷałá Teacher Education program has trained and certified Native American teacher candidates through the College of Education. Peter (PhD ’79, Educational Psychology) and Mim (MA ’71, English) Gray are challenging us to rally around these future leaders with two challenge gifts totaling $21,000.

 
Sammie McCormack Scholarship


Former UO Trustee and current COE Advisory Council member Sammie McCormack (PhD ‘85) has generously pledged a gift of $20,000 to support students at the College of Education. Join Sammie in supporting scholarships for students enrolled in our teacher preparation programs.

COE Scholarship Fund


COE students make a difference every day—as educators, counselors, and researchers—and scholarships make that possible. Our scholarship fund provides flexible support where it’s needed most, from recruitment and professional development to emergency tuition aid. This year, four challenge gifts totaling $53,000 are waiting to be unlocked.
