Please see the email from Ron Bramhall regarding the requirement to report course materials. Encourage all faculty who are teaching in the spring to report their materials before Jan. 13th.

Dear colleagues,



The deadline to report course materials adoption for Spring 2025 term is January 13, 2025. We’re reaching out with a reminder to report your course materials (or indicate that no materials are required) by the deadline.



As a reminder, Oregon HB 2919<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/t.e2ma.net/click/cb8i0f/kdvweh/8j4m20__;!!C5qS4YX3!VLPUHDe0J8MiCx_NhLbEP7VflCvS5tRYlPcscaFWgJqOt1BGUbyHlAeM7I6p8GU$> now requires colleges and universities to display required course materials and estimated costs on the university bookstore website at the time of student registration. Beyond complying with this new legislative requirement, we believe that providing this information in advance of registration is a supportive practice for students, and gives them the necessary time to find low-cost alternatives and seek financial support.

3 things to note:

  *   All courses must report all required materials – even those that don’t have any materials and those that are not ordering materials through the Duck Store. The Duck Store is collaborating with the university on this by providing their systems and personnel for sourcing and costing materials.
  *   There is a batch reporting option on the website above if your unit has a group of sections/courses that do not any required materials.
  *   If you have staff who assist with this, they can be added as departmental approvers. The instructions for that are on the website above.
