Colloquium Title: Promoting Physical and Psychological Safety for Hispanic/Latine Youth: A Prevention Science Perspective
Description: We can leverage prevention science and technology to enhance safety among marginalized youth by addressing risk and protective factors in homes, schools, and community settings. The presentation will include culturally responsive research, teaching, and clinical approaches to promote well-being and reduce exposure to violence among marginalized youth.
About Luz Robinson: Dr. Luz Robinson is a school psychologist with a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina. She is currently on internship at the Medical University of South Carolina in the Child Psychology Track. Her research focuses on prevention of bullying and interpersonal violence among Hispanic/Latine youth.
