This workshop will take you through best practices for creating accessible OER. We’ll focus on Pressbooks, the OER publishing platform that UO supports, and cover everything you need to get started creating accessible content in Pressbooks.

Thursday, March 7th

  *   Virtual: 12pm-1pm Cost Savings and Beyond: Demonstrating Impact and Effectiveness with Open Education, hosted by Pressbooks. Whether you’re getting started with a new project or leading a mature open education initiative, the questions of how to demonstrate effectiveness, measure impact, and quantify value are always relevant. This panel includes Allia Service, Open Educational Resource Specialist at the University of Oregon Libraries, and Amy Hofer, Statewide Open Education Program Director with Open Oregon Educational Resources.
