Hello COE faculty, staff, and students,

As many of you know, in January 2023 the University of Oregon, along with OSU and PSU, suspended negotiations with Elsevier, a top publisher of STEM-related research. You can find more information about Elsevier negotiations here, https://library.uoregon.edu/relx_deal.

While negotiations are suspended, UO Libraries is providing UO faculty and students with access to Elsevier articles through Article Galaxy Scholar (AGS) instead of directly from the publisher. There is no need to create an AGS account, just log in to LibrarySearch, search for material, and submit a request. You will receive an email with a link to the article, usually within seconds.

For more information about AGS and how to submit requests, please see the AGS Research Guide, https://researchguides.uoregon.edu/ags. If you have questions about AGS or need assistance requesting Elsevier material, please contact David Ketchum, Director of Access Services, at dketchum at uoregon.edu<mailto:dketchum at uoregon.edu> or by calling 541-346-1884.

Best,
Katherine
