The Office of the Provost will be hosting vendor demonstrations of faculty personnel tools on June 5 and 7, 10 am – 11 am. In response to University Senate work on equitable service and in an effort to streamline processes around major reviews including promotion and tenure, we are seeking vendor-provided tools.

The two vendors will offer virtual presentations of their platform<https://provost.uoregon.edu/faculty-personnel-tools>s. In their presentations, the vendors will explain how their tools and approach will address UO’s specific needs such as how their systems can capture detailed information on faculty service in an effort to then build dashboards to assess and strategize around equitable service in support of the Senate-led initiative. Other features will include:


  *   customizable CV builder for grant and award applications,
  *   checklists and workflows for easier-to-understand dossier development,
  *   field specific areas for all faculty content (e.g., book publications, creative works, different teaching formats, etc.), and
  *   communication tools for faster connection to external reviewers and committee members.

You will have the chance to hear directly from the vendors, see the tools in action, and ask questions about their functionality and usability. While there are instructions on how audiences can interact with presenters<https://provost.uoregon.edu/faculty-personnel-tools#attendee-rules> during these demonstrations, please note that our procurement policies ask that faculty, staff, administrators, and students not directly engage with vendors outside of the demonstration.
