coe-staff: COE Community Listening Sessions

Dear College of Education Community (students, staff, faculty),

Welcome back and happy 2023! This Winter and Spring, as part of our ongoing community-building mission in the College of Education (COE) for the year, Dean McIntyre and Assistant Dean Carrizales-Engelmann will be hosting a series of small-group, interactive, listening sessions dedicated to hearing from some of the different communities within the COE. Through these sessions we hope to:


  *   Hear from some of the groups whose voices may not always be the most prominent when we meet in large-group settings
  *   Create a direct line of communication between members of the community and the Office of the Dean
  *   Hear what's working well and what brings you satisfaction in the COE
  *   Learn what areas still need attention around your experience in the COE and or on campus or in the community
  *   Create more opportunities for community members to get to know one another across the college

Notices announcing the dates, times, and the focus-area of the upcoming sessions will be shared either with specific invited groups or with the community at large approximately a week in advance of each session.  Additionally, a survey will be shared in advance of each session that can also be used in the event you are unable to attend but would like to share thoughts or insights.

Upcoming community sessions will also be noted in the Dean's Weekly.

We look forward to these additional opportunities to talk with and hear from our COE community.
