coe-staff: Central Business Services Office (CBSO)

Dear COE Faculty and Staff,
Welcome back! Over the summer changes have occurred with the COE Finance and COE Human Resources units. These team members have merged with an academic shared services group, the Central Business Services Office, or the "CBSO". The CBSO currently provides services for the College of Education, College of Design, School of Journalism & Communication, Clark Honors College, and the Division of Graduate Studies.

  *   You can still call and email Human Resources at the COE, Amy Green or our new HR member Lydia Griffin. Lydia replaced Jessica Horvath.
  *   Finance, you can no longer directly email the staff located in the Dean's Office in room 230U.  Instead of contacting individuals directly, please make your submissions to cbso at uoregon.edu<mailto:cbso at uoregon.edu>. Your email will then be logged and deployed to a team of individuals who are trained to handle your specific request.   If you email a staff member directly, your request will be delayed while the CBSO request you resubmit your request to the appropriate email address or a staff member manually moves your request to the appropriate email, where the process will be assigned to someone in the CBSO.  This is the same as the central IT change a few years back.
