Dear College of Education faculty and staff,
Reminder: UO Phone numbers for the following COE departments, programs, and units will transition to Microsoft Teams calling on Wednesday, September 21. All other COE units will be transitioned to Microsoft Teams calling in November.

  *   Between 7am-7:30am Pacific Time that day, calls to your UO phone number will start going to Teams instead of to your UO desk phone.
  *   Please avoid making and receiving calls during that window.
  *   Your desk phone settings and any saved voicemail messages will be deleted.
Most desk phones will be collected as part of this transition. You'll receive information about that soon.

The following steps will help you prepare for the transition to Teams calling.

  *   Install or update the Teams app<https://service.uoregon.edu/TDClient/2030/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=32786>, if necessary. For the best experience with Teams calling, we recommend having the Office 365 version of the Teams app installed on your computer. If you have any questions, please contact your IT support team (see below).
  *   Optional: Install the Teams mobile app<https://service.uoregon.edu/TDClient/2030/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=69989>. If you would like to use your UO phone number on a mobile device, you can download the Teams mobile app from your device’s app store.

Customizable Settings
With Teams calling, your UO phone number is available anywhere, at any time, and from any device—desktop computers, laptops, tablets, or smartphones.
Record a voicemail greeting or compose a written greeting and have Teams greet callers for you. Plus, every voicemail message you receive includes both the audio message and an automatic transcription.
Manage when to receive calls and when to silence them. Set up easy call forwarding, establish custom ringtones for different call types, or assign a delegate to manage your calls. Personalized settings are at your fingertips.
