coe-staff: Request for Applications - OVPRI Faculty Research Awards

Dear COE Faculty,

The Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation invites faculty from all academic disciplines to apply for the 2023 Faculty Research Awards (FRA).<https://research.uoregon.edu/apply/apply-internal-funding/faculty-research-awards> Slides from our recent information session can be accessed here<https://research.uoregon.edu/sites/research1.uoregon.edu/files/2022-11/FRA_InformationSession_2023.pdf>.

FRA awards stimulate scholarly productivity by providing eligible faculty with up to $10,000 in support for expenses for research and creative projects, including travel, equipment, supplies, contractual services, shared facility use and graduate or undergraduate student research assistance.

The deadline for receipt of 2023 FRA proposals is 11:59 pm on Sunday, January 22, 2023. The deadline for Department Head to submit their approvals for applications is 11:59 pm on Sunday, January 29, 2023. Note that faculty applicants who also serve as Department Heads must have a Dean or Associate Dean approve their proposal.
