coe-staff: Final Food Drive Results!

Hello,
Thanks to all who participated in this year's Governor's Food Drive!

With your help, the UO raised over $65,000 for FOOD for Lane County, and combined with the nonperishable food donated across campus, we collected the equivalent of 196,844 meals for hungry community members. We know the need is great, and our colleagues across campus really stepped up to meet the moment.

Here are all the departments recognized for their contributions.  The COE was recognized for our strong contribution to Payroll deduction giving (see below):



Overall awards

1.       1st PLACE OVERALL: Johnson Hall and Communications: 18,977 meals

2.       2nd PLACE OVERALL: Advancement: 18,369 meals

3.       3rd PLACE OVERALL: UO Foundation: 15,799 meals

4.       4th PLACE OVERALL: Psychology: 12,330 meals

5.       5th PLACE OVERALL: Linguistics: 11,385 meals



Special recognition

*         Highest average giving per donor (through Raisin)

1.       Registrar's Office and University Testing Center: donors averaged 951 meals per person

2.       Campus Planning and Facilities Management: donors averaged 550 meals per person

*         Payroll deduction giving

1.       University Advancement: 11,742 meals

2.       English: 8,640 meals

3.       College of Education: 5,610 meals

*         Payroll donor headcount

1.          Advancement, 16 employees

2.          Earth Sciences, 11 employees

3.          CPFM, 9 employees

*         Most Non-Perishable Food Donated

1.          Johnson Hall + Communications, 182 lbs

2.          PE & Rec, 176 lbs

3.          Financial Administration Shared Services and VPFA, 131 lbs
