Hello,
The COE has so far donated over $1,000 to the Governor’s Food Drive. Let’s keep up the momentum! If you haven’t had the chance to donate yet, there is still plenty of time for you to participate. The food drive runs through February 28.
How to Donate
1. One-time or recurring payroll deductions can be set up through UO Forms<https://forms.uoregon.edu/document/launch/governors-state-employees-food-drive>. (If you set up a monthly recurring donation in 2021, that ends this month!) You can designate which Oregon regional food bank you would like to receive your donation through this option. Your DUO login will be required.
1. Donate with a credit or debit card online at the COE Food Drive website<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/fflc.akaraisin.com/ui/UOGov22/t/f7f38ef0931a40d781370561ebc1703c__;!!C5qS4YX3!VacDpj3nfOz2sty8DpXlLAidD-zyDk7YpwsVZoR6EbHR61V2ha-D6_8EOLuAtNqGVA$>. You don’t have to be a member of the team to donate, just click on the donate link.
1. You can find a food barrel in the HEDCO lobby or you can save food items for direct donation to the Student Food Pantry and bring them to the EMU Fishbowl Terrace on Wednesday February 16 from 10:00 – 4:30<https://urldefense.com/v3/__http:/customermailengagement.localist.com/ls/click?upn=z1S9DJ0addub39G-2Bs3OCgRAj-2F-2BnT08ztuF0sKmV-2Blehe9PzfG-2Bfs6GzTlz2ieWLGqJtPAhB9iUjSKN63R2Jr31YTs8431u5fLVJK7vygfW1d-2BiHcwqEa4WFSgN6hD0UbWei3_vgd6c9vB7-2Fhj9n-2FyPNcOpUn0XeydQgIHZUiRE-2BerS8zBJirtteCbnClKGGqBAqWN-2BN5jyWJEOSGcgJl8HIKkUq2WVh6-2BHntorrJRpM7o-2F8YtJ-2BmphCJADXh7o4DREzyzwd4HHsCs8JPC8vdtQ84D6KHru497bbf5spTUasLLq2wXNnisz1b9brpnlk-2BdYQen4WXUGJkidU4iGp5kqnB8cQ-3D-3D__;!!C5qS4YX3!X2kT7a_-zPyxoOjlUXrxddDCnLbc7fMu6fHRNsk_kTOUX1dgcmO5oz4E_DzPeiE$>
Our Food for Lane County donation barrel needs some love! The barrel is conveniently located in the HEDCO Lobby where you can bring your non-perishable food donations. Food drives are a great opportunity to diversify food offerings, so think outside of the "pasta box"! Culturally diverse items like spices and seasonings, masa, dried legumes, mole and canned salsas, chiles, and curry paste are welcome, as well as "building block" items that make a meal, like olive oil and cooking spray, baking mix, plant-based milks, nut butters, hearty soups, and shelf-stable proteins like canned beans, protein powder, and canned tuna, chicken or ham.
Thank you for your efforts to raise food and funds for the Oregon Food Bank Network and FOOD for Lane County.
