•  Through the UO Common Reading Program, the University of Oregon community is invited to attend Michelle Obama’s only higher education appearance of the year. The discussion will focus on themes from Obama’s book, Becoming, and include topics about owning your story, finding your voice, unseen history, support systems and challenges of first-generation and minority students.  One UO student will be participating in the live event in DC. Reserve your individual spot by Friday for this event on Nov. 9:

Free copies of Michelle Obama's book, Becoming, are available to UO students, faculty, or staff beginning at 9am on Wednesday, November 3 at Duck Store locations at the EMU, Autzen, and 13th & Kincaid.
