Dear Faculty and Staff,

As you may have seen from the Provost's email yesterday, HEDCO is one of just a few buildings on campus that have been designated as "open facilities". As an open facility, HEDCO will be open to students from across campus for "student learning and scheduled activities" that they may schedule to occur in HEDCO classrooms or open areas. To accommodate this, starting on September 29th, HEDCO's main entrance will be staffed with part-time "greeters" who will be checking the UO IDs of visitors coming through the main entrance as well as monitoring for face masks and social distancing. Faculty and staff with key access will still be able to enter through any entrance that their key permits.

In some cases our "greeters" may be student ambassadors from across campus themselves which means, in some instances you may be asked to show your ID if the student doesn't recognize you.

Lokey buildings will be restricted to COE faculty and staff with existing access. The Clinical Services Building is listed as open, but access is limited to approved faculty and staff and OHSU - Eugene Child Development and Rehabilitation Center activities only.

We will continue to engage in all the safety measures we have been developing this summer to support the health and safety of everyone using the building. We will continue to share information as it becomes available.

Best,

Dianna
