We are currently inviting UO College of Education faculty and staff members for participation in an upcoming workshop, “Creating a More Inclusive Workplace: Addressing Body Size Bias and Discrimination”. This workshop is open to all faculty, staff, and students with paid University of Oregon employment positions. Further information can be found on MyTrack:
https://uomytrack.pageuppeople.com/learning/3123
Body size discrimination is highly prevalent and legal across the United States. Attend this interactive workshop to learn about sources and negative consequences of body size biases, including how they contribute to workplace inequities. Leave with actionable strategies for promoting a more inclusive work and learning environment for students and staff of all sizes.
The workshop is being presented by Gabby Luther & Austin Folger, who are Counseling Psychology Doctoral Students.
Thank you!
Best,
Maggie
