coe-staff: New COE awards

Dear COE community,
Please join me in congratulating our colleagues on the following new research awards.

Wendy Machalicek and Robert Horner, at Educational and Community Supports, have received 2020-2023 funding from IES for a research training program in special education entitled, "Training institute in advanced single-case research design and analysis."

Stephanie Shire, at the Prevention Science Institute, has received 2020-2024 funding from IES for a research training program in special education for the project entitled, "Leveraging autism intervention for families through telehealth."

Ilana Umansky, in the Educational Methodology, Policy, and Leadership Department, has been awarded a prestigious 2020 National Academy of Education/Spencer Postdoctoral Fellowship for the project entitled, "Statewide examination of English learner's access to English language arts: Effects of, and solutions to, conscribed access."
