Dear Faculty and Staff,

Please accept my gratitude for all of your efforts during this important process. The quality of our hiring plan is directly attributable to your engagement throughout the deliberations. I have attached my cover memo as well as our primary spreadsheet below. Given the limited length of the cover memo, I also listed below a more comprehensive overview of the timeling of work that brought this proposal to fruition. You may also contact your academic department head for a copy of full departmental proposal(s).

CoE Department Head, Faculty, and Dean meetings regarding 20/21 IHP

October 30th, 2019: IHP was brought to the Department Heads meeting
November 4th, 2019: IHP was brought to the Faculty Advisory Committee meeting
November 5th, 2019: IHP timeline call for participation was sent to CoE faculty
November 5th, 2019 - January 10th, 2020: Academic Departments engaged in departmental discussions regarding IHP submissions/proposals
January 10th, 2020: Academic Departments' initial submission of IHP proposals to dean
January 14, 2020: University Dean's Council IHP Synergy Meeting was held, where drafts of unit proposals were shared across academic units (chaired by Anna Shamble, Senior Project Manager, OtP)
January 15th, 2020: Discussion, review, and re-writes of IHP proposals was conducted with Department Heads
January 22nd, 2020: Dean, in consultation with Department Heads, ranked proposals
January 24th, 2020: Dean shared IHP updates with the Provost at the CoE regular monthly meeting
February 6th, 2020: Dean, in consultation with Department Heads, suggested edits to a draft of Dean's IHP cover memo
