coe-staff: COE Salad Bar Reminder

Hi all,

We would like to open up the invitation again to all COE faculty and staff to join us for the final salad bar of the summer. Come join us in Lokey 119 between 12 and 1:00 this Wednesday and enjoy a salad! We will be buying greens and roasted chicken at Cost-Co on Tuesday, so  a rough idea of numbers will help us figure out how much we should pick up. If you think you can make it, please shoot me an email at kerib at uoregon.edu<mailto:kerib at uoregon.edu> and let me know if you would like to bring a food contribution or make a $2-3 cash contribution to the shopping trip(s). Food items need to be in the EDST kitchen by 11:00 on Wednesday, and cash contributions should come to Keri or Ann in EDST by noon tomorrow. Ideas include: any and all veggies or salad toppings, pasta salad, bean salad, bread, fruit, cookies, etc. We won't keep track of who is bringing what - we'll just see what shows up! Please bring a plate and a fork and prep your contribution ahead of time if you can. We currently have a fairly good selection of dressings (but feel free to bring your favorite), crumbled bacon, croutons, and 1 can of beans. We will get lettuce, chicken, and cucumbers tomorrow evening - and more items if we get extra contributions.

You do not have to RSVP to attend - we will have extra. If you do decide to come at the last minute, just grab something on the way in or toss a couple bucks into the kitty to pay into the Costco fund. Talk to your co-workers and plan to join us!
