coe-staff: SPECS Good News!

Dear all,

I write with some wonderful news regarding several of our SPECS faculty.

Please join me in congratulating Elise Peltier and Elisa Jamgochian on their successful promotions.

Elise Peltier was promoted to Clinical Associate Professor in our Communication Disorders and Sciences program and Elisa Jamgochian was promoted to Senior Lecturer I in our Special Education program. These promotions represent years of hard work and important contributions to teaching, clinical education, applied service, program leadership, and service. Well done!

Finally, Samantha Shune, Assistant Professor in our Communication Disorders and Sciences program, was the recipient of Ersted Distinguished Teaching Award. This is an award from the Provost's office and seeks to honor (just) one early career faculty member who engages in inclusive, engaged, and research-led instruction.  Last week Provost Banaver, Dean Kamphaus, McKay Sohlberg, and I had the privilege of surprising Samantha during one of her courses and presenting her with the award.

Congratulations Elise, Elisa, and Samantha on these impressive accomplishments!
