coe-staff: Jabber service ending tomorrow (8/1/19)

All,

Information Services will be shutting down the "Jabber" chat service tomorrow, August 1, 2019 at 7:00 AM.

Jabber is being retired because Microsoft Teams, which was launched earlier this year, offers communication and collaboration tools that are more encompassing and more widely available than the "Jabber" instant messaging service.


If you still use Jabber, please contact COEIT (coeit at uoregon.edu) or Information Services (https://service.uoregon.edu) to look into using Microsoft Teams for chat, group messaging and collaboration.
