coe-staff: Fill the Food Barrel Raffle

Bring in your canned food items and be entered into a raffle drawing.  The prizes include 2 reserved tickets to the February 28th Men's Basketball game ; 2 reserved tickets to a Women's Softball game; other COE swag.
You will receive:
1 raffle ticket for each item such as canned soup, pasta, canned vegetables that you bring in;
2 raffle tickets for each item that is a food high in protein such as canned meats (i.e., tuna, chicken, salmon) and canned or dried beans.

Bring in your canned goods to HEDCO 130 (behind the coffee shop) and get your raffle ticket(s) from the student receptionist.  While canned goods will be accepted until the end of February, for the purposes of the raffle, you need to bring in your food either Thursday, Feb. 21, Friday, Feb. 22 or Monday, Feb. 25th.  We'll draw for the winners on Tuesday, February 26th.

Don't forget that cash donations made on February 21 (that's tomorrow!) go to benefit the UO Student Food Pantry.

Online donations are a new feature for this year's Governor's State Employees Food Drive<https://fundraise.foodforlanecounty.org/campaign/university-of-oregon-governors-state-employees-food-drive/c217909>. Through a generous partnership with FOOD for Lane County, donations up to $3,700 on Thursday, Feb. 21, will go directly to the Student Food Pantry<http://www.uoecm.org/the-student-food-pantry.html>.

Donating online is simple. On Feb. 21, a check box will appear in the online donation process asking "Would you like this donation to go directly to the Student Food Pantry?" Click yes, and your donation will be added to the $3,700 goal.
