coe-staff: COE Department Head and Associate Dean updates 2019-2020

The following message is sent on behalf of Dean Randy Kamphaus:

Dear COE Faculty and Staff,

Both SPECS and EDST Department Heads are up for transition in the 2019 academic year. I am pleased to let you know that both departments have now completed their nomination processes.

The 2019 - 2020 Department Head for SPECS will continue to be Laura Lee McIntyre.
The 2019 - 2020 Department Head for EDST will be Jenefer Husman.

Please join me in thanking Laura Lee and Jenefer for their willingness to take on these leadership roles in support of our college.

This year, I will also be assigning an interim Associate Dean for Faculty Development to replace Joe Stevens who will be transitioning out of the role.  Chris Murray has agreed to serve the college in this role for the 2019-2020 cycle to ensure a smooth transition of our promotion, tenure, and review process. I will be soliciting names for this ongoing role in a future quarter.

Please join me in thanking Chris for stepping into this role.
