Below is our COE calendar update for Spring term.
Dates you may wish to note:
May 9-10, Oregon Indian Education Association Conference hosted by the COE at the EMU, visit https://oiea2019.uoregon.edu/ for more information
Friday, June 7, Faculty and Staff Meeting 2-4 pm; Faculty and Staff Appreciation Picnic 4-6:30 pm.
Monday, June 17, COE Commencement Ceremony, 4 pm - 6 pm, Matthew Knight Arena

The College of Education in conjunction with Educational Community Supports (ECS) has invited Dr. David Campt, a national expert in the areas of inclusion, equity, and conflict resolution, to provide a dialogue session to interested faculty and staff. In his talks, Dr. Campt provides a sensitive and realistic "toolkit" that supports and facilitates productive conversations even when topics are difficult and attitudes are ingrained. The toolkit discussion equips individuals with tools and skills that can be used in all varieties of discourse (personal, professional, group, individual).

Join us on Friday, June 7, for a day of fun in the sun as we relax and enjoy the end of the academic year with food, games, prizes, and great people at our Faculty and Staff Appreciation Picnic.

We'll hang out on the lawn next to Kendall Plaza (at the front of the HEDCO Building) from 4 - 6:30 pm, play lawn games, eat great food, and partake of some summer beverages.

We'll also celebrate excellence within the COE as the Dean will hand out our Faculty and Staff Awards at 5:30 pm. Family members are invited to attend as well.
