coe-staff: Encourage students to take this highly rated IRT course

Interested in remaking assessment with new, better approaches and ideas? Consider encouraging your students to take Item Response Theory (IRT 1) in EMPL this spring term (EDLD 661)!
To see why UO graduate students are giving our IRT I course a high evaluation (4.8 out of 5 in our student eval ratings!), see Section 1 in the attached flyer. Our version of IRT 1 is hands-on and project-based. Students learn via practice and lots of supported demonstrations. Students report that they are finding IRT methodology very useful for all kinds of interesting new assessment approaches. For more details on what to like about IRT, see Section 2 in the attached flyer. Or print and share the attached IRT poster on "Remaking Assessment."
