coe-staff: Senate meeting 10/17/18 minutes

Hello COE Colleagues,

Please find meeting minutes from the 10/17/2018 meeting of the University Senate. We will continue to share a brief summary of senate meetings with the COE community following each senate meeting, to enhance two-way communication between members of the COE and the senate.  Further, agendas for each senate meeting get posted in advance at: https://senate.uoregon.edu/

Chris Murray and John Seeley, and I will serve as your elected representatives to the University Senate from the COE this year.  Please email any of us if you have thoughts on how we can represent you in the Senate as a whole, including issues of importance to the COE, feedback on upcoming agenda items, or senate meeting notes, etc.
