coe-staff: RAND Graduate Student Summer Associate Program

Dear All,

Last week during her visit to our college, Dr. Darleen Opfer, Vice President for the Education and Labor Research Division at the RAND Corporation, mentioned that their Graduate Student Summer Associate Program had never received applications from UO doctoral students. She would like to see that change. While it is a very competitive program (~40-50 students are accepted annually), this program offers doctoral students a unique intellectual and professional development opportunity to engage in cutting edge research. The following link provides a wealth of information about this underutilized resource. Please share this broadly and feel free to follow up for more information. Applications for the 2019 summer program will be accepted through December 4, 2018.
