REL Webinar Series – Learning Together: Translating Research to Practice
Join Regional Educational Laboratory Northeast & Islands for a two-part virtual workshop series that will support education researchers in translating research for actionable use by practitioners, policymakers, and other consumers of educational research.
As the number of researcher-practitioner collaborations grows nationwide, education researchers seek to enhance their capacity to support practitioners and policymakers in engaging with research to inform decision making. In these events, REL Northeast & Islands researchers will build participants’ understanding of how to collaborate with stakeholders to share and present research findings in meaningful and useful ways. Staff from the Vermont Agency of Education and Boston Public Schools will share their experiences working with REL researchers to effectively present and use research.
* Session 1 (May 17): Presenting Your Findings to Maximize Impact
* Session 2 (June 13): Collaborating with Stakeholders to Support Decision Making
This workshop series is open to the public. Researchers interested in becoming more effective in their work with practitioners may be particularly interested in participating. Attendance at both sessions is recommended but not required. If you are unable to attend, register to receive an email when a recording of each workshop is posted.
