coe-staff: REMINDER: Showcase Oregon is Tomorrow!

UO Showcase Oregon is tomorrow at the EMU and it is free. Showcase Oregon is hosted by the Division on Equity and Inclusion and is a series of talks and poster sessions designed to support the Diversity Action Plan work that is happening across campus. The College will showcase some of its work.

The featured speakers and schedule of events are attached. Sessions are open to all from the UO and community. Topics include Active Allyship, Beyond Implicit Bias, and more.



*        President Schill will provide our welcome for the day in the Crater Lake Rooms of the EMU, at 1:00 pm. You'll then have an opportunity to peruse the more than 40 posters on display, and discuss with colleagues the exciting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives happening throughout the university. Posters will be on display between 1:00 and 4:00pm in the Crater Lake Rooms.


*        Beginning at 2:00 pm, DAP talks and programming at the Multicultural Center will begin. Descriptions of the talks are attached, and you can find the room schedule in the attached schedule or the printed programs, available tomorrow.



*        Programs will be available in the Crater Lake rooms, which will include a ballot for you to vote on 4 different awards for the posters. Please vote! Comment forms will also be available, should you want to provide any written feedback for your colleagues who are presenting posters.



*        A closing awards ceremony and reception will be held from 4:15 to 5:15pm in the Crater Lake rooms.



*        If you are coming from off-campus, you may park in the Columbia garage. Keep your ticket, and we will have a parking validation machine available in the Crater Lake rooms.
