All,
UO Information Services is reporting a campus-wide issues with UOSecure Wireless access.
Their current recommendation is to use the EDUROAM wireless network in the interim. EDUROAM requires that user enter a full UO email account (e.g.:tkneen at uoregon.edu) and your email password to connect to eduroam.
See Information Services message below:
Users are reporting again that they are not able to connect to the UO Secure wireless network. When attempting to connect, you are likely to get messages such as "Unable to join the network 'UO Secure'". Existing connections to UO Secure will continue to work, but if your device goes to sleep or changes locations, it will not be able to rejoin UO Secure.
Staff are working to restore service. Updates will be posted on the Status website: https://status.uoregon.edu<https://status.uoregon.edu/>.
In the meantime, two other wireless networks are available as temporary workarounds: "uowireless" and "eduroam". (For eduroam, your username is your full @uoregon.edu email address.)
If you have any questions, please contact the Technology Service Desk through the new UO Service Portal at https://service.uoregon.edu<https://service.uoregon.edu/> or by phone at 541-346-4357. The Tech Desk is available by phone until 7pm M-F.
