coe-staff: More grant congratulations! This one to Lauren Lindstrom and John Lind for receipt of an IES grant

Dear COE faculty and staff,

COE faculty are on a roll this week- one more notice of grant award just came in, this one to Lauren Lindstrom and John Lind for a new grant from US Department of Education entitled, "Paths 2 the Future for All: College and Career Readiness Intervention for At-Risk Youth."

This grant will develop, revise, and pilot test the Paths 2 the Future for All (P2F for All) curriculum intervention for adolescents who are at-risk for academic failure or school dropout. Paths 2 the Future is a gender-specific career development curriculum that was initially designed for high school girls with high incidence disabilities through a Goal Two IES study. This new grant will revise and expand this promising curriculum intervention by creating and testing non-gender specific lessons and activities specifically focused on improving education and career outcomes for at-risk youth. Lauren will be leading this work from her new position at UC Davis in collaboration with John Lind in the COE, and Dave DeGarmo as the study's methodologist.
