coe-staff: Celebrating Teachers

Dear Faculty, Staff, and Students,

Please join me in celebrating National Teacher Appreciation Week as well as Teacher Appreciation Day on Tuesday, 9 May 2017<x-apple-data-detectors://0>.

Traditionally the Tuesday of the first full week in May is National Teacher Day in the USA.  In 1985, the National Education Association (NEA) established Teacher Appreciation Week as the first full week of May.  This week is an occasion to recognize  the many contributions teachers make to help students succeed in school and in life.  Take a moment to think about those teachers that have made an impact in your life.
