coe-staff: Local Edits to the COE Website

The note below is sent on behalf of Central Communications (Digital Communications) as they support the re-development of the COE Website:

Dear folks,

The redevelopment of education.uoregon.edu<http://education.uoregon.edu/> is picking up speed, and we here at Digital Communications now have a complete and detailed set of data about the website contents.

At this point, we request that you please do not add pages to or remove pages from education.uoregon.edu<http://education.uoregon.edu>. Because those changes skew the data we use to make design decisions, we ask that you notify us (contact information below) if you must add or delete critical pages. This will allow us to document the change.

Feel free to continue to edit the contents of pages-make changes to copy, update published deadlines or remove erroneous information. In the case that it is necessary to add a page to or remove a page from the existing website, please share those changes with our office so that we can incorporate the changes into the new website.

During later stages of development this year, we plan to ask that you stop making changes to content as well, so that it stays "frozen" while we migrate it into the new site.
