coe-staff: Faculty and Staff Awards Update

Hello,
Thanks to those who have submitted Faculty and Staff Award nominations.  After the form went out, it was suggested that the criteria for our Research/Outreach awards weren't written in a way that reflected a considerable number of our faculty who do that type of work.  So we reviewed the criteria and added a new award.  The added award is the Mid-Career Excellence in Research/Outreach award, designated for nominees who have served for at least three but no more than nine years and are at the TTF associate or full professor, NTTF associate research professor, or a Senior Research Associate I/II rank.

We've also adjusted the overall criteria for the Excellence in Research/Outreach awards so that the nomination can include activities prior to the nominee's arrival at the UO, although the activities since their hire at the UO should be prominent.  The new nomination form reflecting these changes is attached.  Nominations are still due by 5:00 pm on Monday, April 10.  Email them to me, or drop them by HEDCO 130.
