coe-staff: COE Research mentions at UO Board of Trustees meeting

Dear Faculty and Staff,


Colleagues from around campus reported to me that our strong research performance was mentioned by VPRI David Conover in his remarks to the board.  Although the webcast is not yet available, the supporting materials distributed at the meeting are posted on the Board's web site.  Here is one excerpt from the federal advocacy materials.


"In FY16, faculty won $98.6 million in federal research grants. The largest sources were the US Department of Education ($35.1M) and the US Department of Health and Human Services ($33M)."


?Please be aware that your extraordinary effort is both recognized and appreciated by all levels of governance at the UO.

Simply put; there is no harder working or more accomplished group of education researchers working today.
