Hello COE community,
The first half of fiscal year 2017 (July 2016 - December 2016) marked another period of research excellence for our college. Faculty in the College of Education were awarded a total of 29 new grants and contracts during this 6-month period, totaling $18.9M for this fiscal year. These grants and contracts came from a diverse set of funding agencies, such as the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, the Oregon Department of Education, the US Department of Education, the Spencer Foundation, as well as contracts from a range of external university and community partners.
Each of these new projects has been awarded funding for specific research, training, and outreach activities that will contribute new knowledge about youth development, student learning, educational systems, and family and community supports, as well as provide new training opportunities for students, and new outreach services to thousands of children and families. A list of the new projects is presented below.
Please join me in congratulating our faculty and their research and outreach staff teams (it takes a team to do this work) in their recent successes!
